Activities

Our cadets are young people, who usually meet once a week after school and/or on weekends. Cadets learn basic skills like first aid, bush survival and field craft, and much more. Here are just some of the activities cadets can do:

• Canoeing
• Rock Climbing
• Orienterring and Map Reading
• Cweremonial Parades such as ANZAC Day
• Communication Skills
• Basic Bush Skills

• Firearms Training (live and simulated)
• Equipment Maintenance
• Physical Education
• Citizenship

Cadets can undertake adventure training and go bush, win marksmanship awards and qualify for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, (we are an accredited provider). Cadets also get to visit Army camps and attend annual camps and participate in competitions and leadership and development courses during the school holidays.
